Rail Simulator has rapidly been coming to life in the last few months with a growing number of add-ons becoming available, and today we’re pleased to announce our newest addition destined for your collection, in the form of the YGB Seacow ballast hoppers.

These well known hoppers will make an excellent companion to our forthcoming JJA Autoballasters (shown for the first time in the Network Rail livery based on the HQA variant - believed to be the future colourscheme of the former Railtrack branded JJA’s), and have been in widespread use right across the UK rail network on engineering trains during the past few decades.
Currently the Seacow and Autoballaster wagons are having a collection of engaging scenarios created to allow users to experience them in a variety of interesting situations, and although no release date is set just yet, we’re hopeful that they will be available early this spring.

Both the YGB Seacow and JJA Autoballaster will feature a number of authentic detailed liveries all with realistic weathering, allowing for colourful and highly life-like trains, which look great both parked up in sidings and hard at work on the main line at track renewal sites.
You can see more screenshots of the JJA Autoballaster here, and we’ll be adding full details of the Seacow next week to our In Development section on the Just Trains website.

Have you got your Cargowaggons yet?
It was a busy start to the year at Just Trains, with the release of not only the wonderful RS PlusPak’s by Armstrong Powerhouse, but also the first of our two wagon PlusPaks - firstly the internationally registered Cargowaggon IWB covered van, closely followed by the Cargowaggon Flat IGA complete with loads such as steel reels, sawn timber, rails, and pipes.
Feedback from customers on both the PlusPak wagons has been hugely positive, and we’re glad to hear that you are enjoying them as much as we hoped you would. As ever you’re welcome to post your comments in the Response Box below, so let us know what you think of our Cargowaggons, Seacow, Autoballaster, and anything else Rail Simulator related!
