Deck the rails with loads of Ballast tra la la la la…

As you can probably tell from the blog title, we’re in full festive swing at Just Trains towers, and it gives us great merriment to provide you with a special pre-Christmas treat by announcing our third PlusPak for Rail Simulator - this time in the form of the thoroughly modern JJA Autoballaster!

JJA Autoballaster

These wagons can be found across the UK rail network playing a major part in track renewal works, and started life as KPA hoppers before being converted in 2000 to become the JJA, running in sets of five wagons, often with multiple sets in formation behind locos such as the Class 66.

The screenshots above show the Autoballaster during the early stages of development, and we’ll be bringing further details of the pack in the coming weeks, both here on the blog and our In Development section of the Just Trains website.

And a quick word about our Cargowaggons…

Just before you start to wonder “where are the Cargowaggons?” - they’ll be released soon after the new year, with the Cargowaggon IWB launching first, and followed shortly after by the Cargowaggon IGA Flat - both sets of wagons are complete and look truly amazing in Rail Simulator, and recent weeks have seen the creation of scenarios which will give you a chance to experience the wagons in a number of challenging activities.
