A long Voyager nears the start

Strange title for a blog..but the Voyager project for Rail Simulator has taken a fair amount of time to start approaching the virtual platform but that time is approaching. No, apologies I still can’t give you a release date but rest assured that date is not too far away at all and as soon as it is confirmed I will write it here, but in the meantime I wanted to give you details and some pictures to move forward with.

Voyager description:
Now you will be able to boldly go where no others have with Voyager in Rail Simulator. This distinctive and high-tech wonder is arriving on a line near you.
First entering service in 2001 the Voyager’s distinctive shape and striking liveries changed the way that the railways were viewed and heralded in a new future.

Voyager supplies you with both the 220 and 221 versions in a set of striking liveries along with a set of interesting and exciting set of scenarios to drive on the default Rail Simulator routes. Modelled in very high quality with exacting details the exterior is only matched by the superb looking driving cab with authentic controls. The realistic passenger view is augmented by the custom sound set to make you feel as if you really are driving the real deal, you can even move the drivers’ sun blind up and down!

Important note; due to limitations in Rail Simulator the tilting function is not operative on the 221 model.

Just Trains Voyager – Surprised and Dreaming? It’s not quite the Tardis but it’s not what you would expect to turn up in 1950’s Somerset either. For the Bath Green Park to Templecombe route.
Just Trains Voyager – Winter Voyager. A frustrating trip from Oxford to Reading. A temporary failure on a freight train ahead of you means a slow start to your run up to Reading. For the Oxford to Paddington route.
Just Trains Voyager – Into the night. It’s a Summer evening and you’re on your way to Manchester via Oxford. (Does not include route outside of default Rail simulator route).  For the Oxford to Paddington route.
