Winter’s back!

Winter’s back!

No - I am not talking about the current weather here in the UK but I could be!  After a few lovely sunny days we are back to dull and damp. Why is it that on Monday the BBC weather website was saying brilliant sunny days all the way through to Friday and then Tuesday came and it was showers from Wednesday onwards – eh? How can they get it so wrong? I thought they could forecast reasonably accurately up to about 5 days out? The other annoying thing was that the BBC website said one thing and the BBC TV news said another – what about some joined up writing BBC?

In-Development.

Anyway rant over and back to the future. We have just posted some pictures of our new and up-coming Real Scenery Airport - White Waltham on our In-Development page. You can get there via the “In Development” tab on our main page. I think our unique snow effects look very realistic. I will be posting up more pics of Waltham there shortly.

What else have been going on with up-coming products recently?  Well, Traffic X our eagerly anticipated Ai traffic program is still being worked on and is due around the end of Q2 2008 – it’s going to have new features in it along with the most modern airliners like the 787, A380 and even the A350, we are even going to leave in Concorde as people still love it.

We are busy planning the next aircraft for our Flying Club range… but I cannot say to much about that at the moment, what I can say is that our in-house development crew including Marc and Wolfgang have been very busy updating all the Flying Club aircraft (seven now would you believe!) to be fully FSX SP2 compatible and we will be getting that update available as soon as we are able to – they really look good!

The ‘most requested’ Mosquito is in its (hopefully!) final round of testing and is looking good. Mosquito will be for FS2004 and FSX with the FSX versions being FS2004 conversions. I was worried at first if the standard of the models would be good enough as they have been in-development for quite some time but I must say that as I have looked and tested these models I have no worries about them – the details are fantastic and still hold their own.

For those with more of a Train bent then I can exclusively reveal here that we are working with Railwaves on a Voyager pack for Rail Simulator. More news here soon but here is an ultra-sneak peek pic of one of the liveries below….

Hot news!

We have just re-released the mighty RAF Vulcan but this time updated for FSX – there has always been a great demand for this fantastic machine and we are pleased to have been able to update it for FSX – for full details of what it can and can’t do please see the RAF Vulcan product page on the website.

New newsletter

We have also just produced our first newsletter – this is slightly different to our e-shots that focus more on individual products, whereas the newsletter covers a variety of news and stories from Just Flight and Just Trains – if you are not a subscriber to our e-shots then think of signing up . If you want to know what’s happening at Just Flight/Trains Towers then it’s a prime choice.

‘till the next time.

Keep safe

Hi Scotty,
I am waiting with baited breath for your new AI program to come out. I am tired of the stock AI in
FSX. All I want is AI that will do what it is suppose to do. Real world schedules are not that big of a issue with me. LOL how am I to know if a flight is on time or not. I would like to see full world coverage. I hate flying the Long halls all by myself. I love what I see in your products, I think you guys do a fantastic job. Keep it up!!!
