R44 update and new video.

R44 update and new video.

Firstly an apology. The R44 will not be released on download before Christmas. We really were hoping to achieve this but several last minute things on the project have stopped this happening. We are still as I write working on the R44 to ensure that it really is as good as we can get it for you and we really did not want to release it before it was 100% for you. We are aiming to have it ready for you early in January and I would hope that it will be so before the 18th of January, but as I have written previously this is subject to change as we live in the real world – of course one of the reasons the date is pushed out this far is that we have Christmas and the New Year festivities any day now and many people from Just Flight will be celebrating those event.

Now – on a positive note please find an all new video below showing some of the first-rate animations that will be in the R44. We believe that we are one of the leaders if not the leader in the flight sim world with our human animations and realistic body shapes and our current pinnacle of the designs are included in the R44. These exclusive and ultra-realistic models are created by our lead designer Marc Siegel.

When you play the video please ensure that your volume is turned up as there is an audio commentary on the video that explains the animations and if you were ever curious as to what I sound like now you will know - many thanks to Simon Martin for editing this video together with the audio track and creating the intro and ending sections.

We are planning to release more videos of the R44 as and when we are able to.

It just remains for me to say once more thank you for your kind patience and from all at Just Flight our best wishes over the coming festive season.

‘till the next time, keep safe.

Scotty.

Thanks Scotty…. While I was hoping for a Christmas present this year….I’m even more pleased that you’re taking the time to get the R-44 “Just Right.” (smile)

Take all the time you need…. I’m looking for a really wonderful craft with this release.

Best wishes,
Steve

P.S. Will the instruments have back lighting?

Hi Scotty
I see the price for the R-44 but can’t find the link to buy it.
Also I would love a white with silver 2007 factory stripes paint with the tail number N489RA that belongs to a long time buddy of mine.
Thanks and Blue Skies
Greg

hiya scotty i would just like to say the R-44 is just as hoped, it is fantastic im really impressed by its looks its sounds and the way it flies, on the emergency float clipper, when the floats are popped out, is there a way to retract them again? but anyway great job its really great :)

WOW!! I LOVE your R-44,on any given day we have 3or4 in our hangers at work (KGTU),and I fly in my friend Rays brand new 2007 R-44 (N489RA) 2or3 times a month and I only know of one other R-44 out for FS04&FSX and it’s ok but your R-44 is right on the money it looks so real, flys good, the sound is a little off but my wife says I am WAY to picky..LOL
Thanks to everyone who worked on the R-44 for all your hard work :)
Thanks and Blue Skies
